The Full Black Dr. Grip has a special grip that consists of 2 layers of silicone rubber. The outer layer is harder than the inner layer, giving it a moderate softness while still allowing for a stable and durable pen grip.
The surface of the writing instrument is slickly covered in full black with intricately placed color accents around the middle and clip end.
The Full Black design comes in 0.7 mm ballpoint pens as well as 0.5 mm mechanical pencils.

I love the design of..., April 18, 2011
I love the design of this pencil, i even got the pen! I'd choose this one over
the "purewhite" series. If you like the metal barrel from the other dr. grip
then i wouldnt recommend this pen for you as its mostly made out of plastic and
its lighter.
And yes you can put a piece of paper in it and see what it says!

can you put a piece of paper in the top part. you know you take out the top part
and take out the middle stick, and in the other dr. grip pencils the part with
the clip is see through and you can put a paper with a design on the and then
reassemble the pencil/pen, and you can see that paper with the design through
the top part of the barrel. does that work with this pencil too or is it covered
by the black?

Very good pencil, has a nice matte-feeling tip and a overall eloquent design.
Also the shaker is relatively quiet, although louder than i expected, and comes
in handy many times. As a decent-artist i mainly use this pencil for drawing
which i would say it does very well as the grip has a hard feeling but just
enough squish to get a good grip on it. Also the lead is well supported inside
and hasn't broken on me so far. One of my pet peeves with other ergonomic
pencils is when i squeeze then release this grip there's a little sort of pop,
hard to explain but it really got to me and with this pencil i don't experience
that! Overall, this is a great pencil and i would highly recommend this.

Excellent pencil. The grip has just the right tackiness, and as long as you like
the medium to large barrells, you'll like this. My only complaint is the lack of
a satisfying click from the top button, but the shaker mechanism works very
well. Despite the tip being plastic, the pencil as a whole has a solid feel.
This is a very comfortable writing pencil.
