Pilot Dr. Grip Full Black Dual Layer Grip Shaker Mechanical Pencil - 0.5 mm - Silver Accents

Very good pencil, has a nice matte-feeling tip and a overall eloquent design. Also the shaker is relatively quiet, although louder than i expected, and comes in handy many times. As a decent-artist i mainly use this pencil for drawing which i would say it does very well as the grip has a hard feeling but just enough squish to get a good grip on it. Also the lead is well supported inside and hasn't broken on me so far. One of my pet peeves with other ergonomic pencils is when i squeeze then release this grip there's a little sort of pop, hard to explain but it really got to me and with this pencil i don't experience that! Overall, this is a great pencil and i would highly recommend this.

Excellent pencil. The grip has just the right tackiness, and as long as you like the medium to large barrells, you'll like this. My only complaint is the lack of a satisfying click from the top button, but the shaker mechanism works very well. Despite the tip being plastic, the pencil as a whole has a solid feel. This is a very comfortable writing pencil.

Probably the best mechanical pencil I've ever used(though I have not yet tried the Alpha Gel Mentioned in the review below so I cannot verify if it's true or not). It fits naturally into my hand and is quite comfortable for long writing sessions. Not to mention that the shaker feature is extremely useful for speed writing. I haven't used any other pencil since I got this.

Such a nice pencil. The weight is perfectly distributed and the grip is excellent. Shaker function works well, and writing is extremely smooth.

This pencil is unbelievably incredible! As a very picky pencil user, I have absolutely no major complaints about this pencil. Here are the things I love about this pencil: the grip, shaker ability, aesthetics, and weight. In my opinion, very few mechanical pencils have grips that are smooth and at the same time have traction. This one does. The weight and feel of this pencil is also terrific, as the pencil fits naturally into my hand and just feels right when writing. I am also a fan of the alpha-gel by uni-ball, and I must say that this is a strong rival to that pencil line.
