The Dr. Grip G-Spec is ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue. The weight of the pencil is concentrated near the center of gravity, resulting in the optimal weight balance. This means that the small rotating motions the pencil goes through while you write are easy and comfortable for your hands. The special double-layer grip features a harder outer layer with a soft inner layer, giving you the perfect softness and providing stability while writing.

Lead can be extended by simply shaking the pencil up and down! There is no need to let go and re-grip your pencil every time you need to extend lead. The conventional method of clicking down on the cap works too. The thin 0.3 mm lead is great for writing in small areas like calendars, for neat, precise writing, and fine-lined drawings.

You can even decorate your pencil and personalize it by inserting decorative items into the upper part as shown in the photos.

This is the Violet pencil. Photos showing how to decorate the pencil feature the G-Spec White pencil with orange grip.

This pencil is currently my favorite pencil. The grip is super squishy and comfortable to write with. It sometimes makes my hand sweaty, but it doesn't bother me too much. The color is a little bit lighter than pictured on the screen (at least with my screen) but I still like it. It writes amazingly well and it makes my handwriting look really nice. I feel as though it writes slightly thicker than other 0.3s I have used, but I love it. I use it all the time for school. I definitely would recommend it for a great student or general pencil, especially if you like to write small.

I love the fine point, and the shaker mechanism is really great - when it works. When I first got it I had to tinker with it before it would feed lead at all, and it remains a touchy piece of equipment. I have to unscrew the dang thing every other day or so. That said, this pencil is comfortable and easy on the hand. I paired it with some higher-quality lead to reduce breakage.

While on the expensive side (I think the most I paid for a pencil) It's my favorite 0.3 pencil. It doesn't seem to just break my lead constantly and it's got a nice weight to it as well as being a beautiful purple.
