This is a wonderful ink, permanent on paper, and a subdued blue, it has become
my daily writer ink for my school work where I can't risk my notes smudging.
It's a bit pricey here, as I can get a 350 ml bottle of this ink in Hong Kong
for what amounts to $15 USD, but at least you don't have to fork out a $2000
airplane ticket. It's still a good deal, especially for the properties it
offers: smooth, well behaved on a variety of papers, and permanent (on paper). I
would get more in a heartbeat when I run out. On top of that, it's got the
old-timey ink smell to it. I think it's the only one with that scent, and it
just might be the preservative they use.

This is an excellent blue-black ink. It is smooth writing, highly
water-resistant and well-behaved. It is my main ink I use at my workplace. Plus
the bottle has an excellent internal inkwell design that aids in filling the
pen.

Pilot Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Black
Pilot standard-issue black fountain pen ink is super-black and smooth. It has to
be one of the blackest blacks available today and the 70ml bottle is very handy
for longer pens--including Pilot's new, large Custom 823 vacuum-filled fountain
pen which requires a deeper bottle. You cannot go wrong with this terrific black
ink.

Pilot Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Black
This ink is very dark and quick-drying. It's also relatively inexpensive,
considering that it's a 70 ml bottle.

Pilot Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Black
This is my go-to-black ink, along with Pilot Blue. In terms of color, the ink
could be better. On paper, the black is slightly washed-out. However, it is
also very free flowing, doesn’t feather too badly, and is extremely safe and
clog-free. The 70ml bottle is also pretty economical (note: it would be even
MORE economical if JetPens would stock the 350ml refill bottles). The Pilot ink
also keeps for prolonged periods of time without developing slime or sludge in
the bottle. If the color was more saturated, I would give it 5 stars. However,
I am happily willing to give-up a little on color for a safe and free flowing
ink like this.

Pilot Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Blue
Pilot blue ink Is good-flowing blue with excellent water resistant qualities.
It can be a little on the light side of blue in extra-fine nibs, but it is a
true blue colour. The ink bottle is brilliantly designed, and the cost is
pretty low—I think Diamine has a lower per-volume cost, but I generally like
the Pilot ink better. This Pilot ink has a slight tendency to feather, but less
than Diamine in my experience (at least Diamine Kensington Blue). I also found
Pilot to be more free-flowing than Diamine, and also Sailor.

Pilot Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Blue
This bottle is bigger than it looks in the pictures, and is a pretty good value.
The color is a good strong blue, not too dark, not too light, quite likable. It
is smooth and good flowing, with minimal to no feathering. I highly recommend
it, especially for Pilot pens such as the Namiki Vanishing Point.

Pilot Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Blue
Where do I start on this ink? Well, it is just about as blue as blue gets, and I
really like that (even though I am not much of a blue ink fan!). It behaves very
well in my experience, with great flow, about medium wetness, and it isn\'t very
hard on pens in my experience. Another great thing you will find about this ink,
is its water resistance. I tried to wash it off a Rhodia page, but it held up
right along with an Iron Gall ink and a \"Bulletproof\" ink, actually retaining
more of its colour than the Noodler\'s \"Bulletproof\" ink! Then we get to the
bottle.. It has a huge capacity (70ml), and the \"ink reservoir\" system is a
wonderful innovation by Pilot to allow you to suck up every last drop of this
ink. Even for the $ I believe this ink is a great value!

Pilot Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Blue
I e-mailed JetPens and requested that they suggest a true blue ink. I did not
want any green, red or black shading. They suggested this ink from Pilot. I
bought the blue and the black. They are indeed true colors and work well in any
pen I use them in.
I like the design of the bottles so well, that I keep them on my desk.
My only complaint is that the plastic well inside catches on some of my pens and
starts to come out of the bottle when I remove the pen.

Pilot Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Blue
I love this ink and the new, deep 70ml bottle. This is a lovely, Royal Blue that
is smooth and rich and it always looks good. Not as bright, certainly, as
Noodler's Baystate Blue, it is a more stately and reserved blue that, I think,
is great for correspondence or journaling.
