Everyone makes mistakes in the workplace, but now you can do it without a trace with these new FriXion Biz erasable gel pens. You'll never have to use correction fluid again. Everyone will wonder how you're always so perfect! It must be time for a promotion…

A breakthrough in writing technology has made available the erasable pen you have always been waiting for. These new pens from Pilot erase by friction. The pens have a special rubber end to rub the thermo sensitive ink away with, thus no eraser by-products are produced, yet the ink disappears magnificently (and the rubber never wears out!) The pen writes smoothly, in silky black lines, and erases without a trace!

Interestingly enough, the ink in these pens will actually reappear when the temperature reaches below – 10 C (under 14 Fahrenheit). A freezer is sufficiently cold enough to make the ink start to reappear. It is like a magic pen for adults!

Because the ink in this pen is thermo sensitive, we do not advise for it to be left in hot cars, used for mailing, or subjected to a condition that exposes it to a lot of friction.

Q: My Pilot FriXion pen is not writing well. It seems to be dried out or writing with clear ink. What should I do?
The FriXion ink formula is thermo-sensitive, which causes it to become invisible when heat from friction is applied. If the pen has been exposed to warm temperatures or direct sunlight, this may have caused the ink inside the pen to be "erased." Please try to store the pens in your freezer overnight, then remove them for an hour or two prior to writing to allow them to come back to room temperature. This can usually reactivate the coloring in the ink and allow the pens to write as normal.

The ink is not very black......

The ink is not very black... more of a green/gray. Seeing as it's erasable, it's a great pen for sketching, though I wish the eraser could have some type of blunt edge so I could erase smaller areas.
