Have this pen and very much enjoy it for writing in my journal and day-planner, which sometimes need erasing; it is dark enough to be subtle color without being boring black, and erases so cleanly it's amazing. Ink leaves those little dark "points" but writes smoothly, and have had no trouble with smudging. Definitely improvement over pencil or erasable ballpoint! Wish they had this in a finer point, too.
