It sharpens and erases really well, the only downside is that these aren't very pigmented, even when applying a lot of pressure the colour comes out very light.

I agree with the first review. The lead is solid in the pencil but only writes with a faint color

Im surprised with these...

Im surprised with these other reviews; I bought this color along with the red, light green, light blue and pink. I love these pencils! And this orange one happens to be one of my favorites of the bunch! For like super hardcore coloring, I wouldnt probably recommend these, cuz yes, the colors arent super duper strong, but thats what makes them erasable!! If you want them to be erasable and darker, then get the Col-Erase brand; they come in more colors anyway (but they kinda stain the paper after awhile). But this orange isn't faint to me; I very much like it! Not too light nor too dark, and I hate when oranges are too dark or bright >.< Its light enough that it doesn't stain the paper and light enough to erase right off! And super easy and pleasant to the eyes! Now if you're an artist, than this color is GREAT for the underdrawing/guidelines!! That's mainly what I use these for to begin with!
But do be warned! They can be easily broken if you try to sharpen them to a fine point!! This is no big deal to me as I use them for guidelines, so no real need for super finesse, but I would def recommend getting the Kutsuwa Stad T'Gaal Pencil Sharpener with these, so you can change the level of sharpen, which will help make these pencils last longer. (I recommend levels 1-3)
All in all, I love these pencils! And totally recommend this color if you buy them as singles!
