A breakthrough in writing technology has made available the erasable pen you have always been waiting for. These new pens from Pilot erase by FRICTION, they are like a magic pen for adults! The pens have a special rubber end to rub the thermo sensitive ink away with, thus no eraser by-products are produced, yet the ink disappears magnificently (and the rubber never wears out!) The pen writes smoothly, in vibrant colors, and erases without a trace! Best of all, they are made of 76% recycled plastic.
Interestingly enough, the ink in these pens will actually reappear
when the temperature reaches below – 10 C (under 14 Fahrenheit). A
freezer is sufficiently cold enough to make the ink start to reappear.
It is like a magic pen for adults!
Because the ink in this pen is thermo sensitive, we do not advise for
it to be left in hot cars, used for mailing, or subjected to a
condition that exposes it to a lot of friction.
See how well the FriXion pen erases on JetPens.com TV:
Efficient, but I'd recommend the retractable version.
When comparing the two, the retractable version has a much thinner and (in my
opinion) comfortable design; the plastic end is firmer, and it doesn't feel as
cheap. Although, I can imagine that someone with a larger hand might find this
pen to be easier to write with. Another fault is that because the eraser nub is
on the bottom, it leaves no place to put the cap. ;;
Interestingly enough, I was able to find this pen at Walmart after purchasing it
online. For some reason, the erasing wasn't nearly as efficient as the my other
frixion pens.
My classmate has one and he really likes it. It erases just about perfectly. The
only downside is that you have to push hard for the friction to take place
therefore making it work.
Working in an office I am always looking at stationary. Well, really I am
obsessed with stationary. So, I seen these new pens at the store and tried them
out. They are freaking awesome. I agree they are the best erasable pen.
i LOVE THIS THING. it is quite possibly the best erasable pen i have ever used.
It writes wonderfully, and erases better than pencils. I cannot wait for jet
pens to get some more of the other colors, I had to purchase red so I could try
it out because all they had was red and pink.
