Awesome pen!! The pink is a little light, but its very unique and pretty. It erases really well, and the eraser works great! My shipment came in really fast as well! 2 days.
The perfect pen!

This is the best pen in the whole world, absolutely and without question.

Okay, maybe I'm biased. I like (very) fine-point gel pens. Purple ink makes me smile. Also, I make a lot of msitakse when I write. My potential list of favorite pens is thus a little limited. But here it is: the most wonderful pen there ever was, for now. (I'm still holding out for a 0.3 mm point.)

The ink color is good--a little more purple than violet--and the 0.4 mm designation seems about right. The thoroughness of erasure depends on the paper you're using, with results ranging from acceptable (slight shadowing) to flawless. It's amazing to erase without tearing up the paper and producing "crumbs." I still feel a compulsion to brush away the imaginary erasure dust, though.

A minor nit to pick: the erasing surface is positioned on the body of the pen, so if you like to write with the cap stuck on the end of the pen, where it won't accidentally slide off the table onto the floor into the cat's paws and under the refrigerator.... What I'm getting at is that you can't erase unless you leave the cap off, a situation fraught with peril. The surface also needs to be kept clean (not usually a problem), or you'll leave permanent smudges on the paper.

The point has held up well for me. I apply medium pressure but am clumsy and have been known to damage my writing implements in imaginative ways. So I did manage to bend the point sleeve (?) once. But I nudged it back into position and haven't had any problems. I haven't experienced any detectable change in the ink width over time, and I've put a LOT of miles on these pens. In fact, I rarely use anything else in my collection of 32,641 fine-point gel ink pens. I'm afraid I'll make a mstiktae, so I reach for the comfort and safety of my beautiful Pilot FriXion.

Buy one. Buy a case. Give them to friends and family. They will love you and forget all of your shortcomings. You will finally be happy, and the world will be a better place.

Writes great. Just like the pencil like Frixion pens with a finer point. Erases great. Ink is the same color as the tea brown^.

I didn't expect too much after using the 0.7mm version of this I picked up from the store, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although the ink does, admittedly, look a little faded and lacking in depth compared to other gel ink pens, the tip is fine and points down a very nice line regardless. It's small, lightweight and comfortable to hold, such that I do not find myself getting sore, tired hands after writing with it for long periods of time. All in all, a solid purchase definitely worth the $3 I paid for it.

These are perfect. They write pretty dark(not as dark as a normal gel ink pen, but still very clear and dark). I love that they write pretty thinly, but not too thin. Erasing is absolutely AMAZING; they erase COMPLETELY and leave NO residue.

This is a nice pen to write with and erases very well. It looks great on white paper, but the color is little lighter than I would prefer, definitely not a true brown.

I agree with other reviews: writes really well, awesome erasing ability, light color ink. Absolutely no clumping. The only thing I find unfortunate is that the eraser is on the end of the pen, not on the cap. So when I go to erase, I need to remove the cap, erase, and then recap. Otherwise, excellent pens.

Nice neutral color, erases very well, feels comfortable, point holding up after one year. It remains one of my just-grab pens for those rare occasions when I don't feel like obsessing at great length over the color.

I really like these pens. They work great, are neater and easier to see than a pencil, and erase almost flawlessly. To answer a previous question, I have never had the eraser part wear down - but a regular erase will work if you need it to.

I don't understand why the pen is potentially refillable(the cartridge does unscrew from the body), yet refills aren't sold on Jet-pens. It boggles the mind.

I am a big fan of FriXion series, yet in my own opinion, having 0.4mm nibs is not a very valuable advantage in the U.S. Many Japanese people write between 6mm line on their notebooks, while Americans do not. The market for 0.7mm probably is larger.

I'd highly recommend these pens, mainly to students. The ink flows very well, and there are never clumps while writing. Contrary to other erasable pens, the friction eraser works better on ink than rubber erasers on pencil! The only disappointment is the fact that the eraser is on the bottom of the pen rather than the top, so putting your cap on the eraser will be a habit...

Amazing product. I use it for school all the time. The color pops out from my black and white pages of notes, and the lack of eraser shavings is a bonus. Fun to write with.

I agree with the other review. I would like to see the eraser on the end of the cap and it would be great if the pen would be refillable. Over $3 for a throwaway is kind of expensive. I do love the pen, however, and especially the erasability.

the pen is as well as Pilot produces. but the color is not beautiful as I thought. It's kind of deep purple~

Pros: the color is great, and it erases easily and completely.

Cons: the eraser is on the end of the pen instead of on the cap, and it's a little scratchy to write with (not good at all for cursive writing, but ok for printing)

I teach college Biology and my students often have to draw what they see under the microscope. The best colors for this are pink, blue and purple. Typically they use colored pencils, but pencils, no matter how sharp, are usually too blunt to draw any detail. I tried these out and they work great. Thin lines, great color, erasable and don't need sharpening. I am going to recommend these to my class this spring.

I love the entire Frixion line, this is just my favorite color. The ink in my pens doesn't seem very faint like some people say, but it wouldn't bother me anyway. It erases extremely well, I highly recommend it!

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TO RESTORE YOUR WRITING IS TO PLACE YOUR NOTES IN A FREEZER FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS - THE INK SHOULD CHANGE COLOR TO ITS ORIGINAL SHADE AS THE t OF THE INK DROPS TO -20°C (approx. -4F) - "FRIXION" INK IS DESIGNED TO "DISAPPEAR" WHEN ITS TEMPERATURE REACHES 65°C (approx. 149F).

Great pen, erases completely! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun pen that can erase. Just make sure not to leave in the sun, I made that mistake and all of my notes disappeared!

This pen is gorgeous. The cap is a clear pink and the barrel ihas a brushed aluminum look to it. The writing tip is different from the american .7 frixion pen. It is precise and doesn't leak. Erasing with it is a dream! Wish the eraser was on the cap but still I love this pen!

I must also state my disappointment with these pens compared to the .7 erasables. The ink indeed does look washed out. The body is kind of sleek though. I give it one star for asthetics.

I was really looking forward to this pen, but I was really disappointed when I tried it out. The ink does not flow nicely from the pen, and it looks washed out or like a pen that is running out of ink. I really wanted these to be an amazing pen, but they aren't. However, the other Pilot FriXion erasable pens that are 0.7mm are excellent, which was a huge suprise to me. They write very clearly, and the ink flow is amazing and the colors are brilliant. Another plus to the 0.7mm is that it is much cheaper than this pen, and in my opinion is 100 times better.

I absolutely love this pen. It's one of my favorites by far for both the FriXion line, and my pens overall. The pens are great for math notes especially. I can write and erase as much as I need, and it writes completely smoothly. Of course there's the down side of being left in the heat, but for the most part it's not a problem, and just toss it in the freezer for a while and it'll be fine. But the colour is nice and dark and pretty, and I love it!
