Pilot G-2 Gel Ink Pen Refill - 0.7 mm - Purple - Pack of 2

Really stumped as to why the refill is more expensive than the pen, at least on this site. ;;
Other than that, it seems to write exactly like the original ink given with the pen. I know some pens have refills that don't work as well...

The ink is very smooth! And this price is cheaper than any other I have seen in American stores. :) A nice refill.

While the price is questionable, this 0.38mm ink is truly a pleasure to write with. Unlike some ultra fine ball points, the G2 0.38mm ink writes smoothly and does not feel like it's scratching the paper. The lines, however, are the same thickness as a 0.5mm ball point pen because the gel ink bleeds into the paper, albeit very slightly.

As far as price is concerned... well, let's just say I was able to pick up a pack of 2 0.38mm pens at a local Wal-Mart for about $2.60 pre-tax. Your mileage may vary.

Just buy a new pen for 5 cents more.
