This is one gel ink refill for the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto writing system. The pen body pictured is not included and can be found under Compatible Products.

The Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto takes the classic Hi-Tec-C gel pen—loved by students, artists and designers for its smooth ink and precise needle-point tip—and turns it into a convenient customizable multi pen system! Choose from dozens of different pen bodies and fill them with whatever combination of ink colors, mechanical pencil components, erasers, and styli you want.

Note: When installing a Hi-Tec-C Coleto component, make sure to line up the small fins on either side of the component's plastic push button with the grooves on either side of the component slot in the pen body.

Also pictured: Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto 5 Color Body Component - Clear Blue.

this WILL work with the dr. grip 4+1 series. all you have to do is take the refill out of your dr grip 4+1 then take the top off of the coleto refill and make sure both are the same height (if the are not, cut with scissors to adjust) then put the coleto refill in the spot of the dr. grip.

These refills are my first experience with the vaunted Hi-Tec-C. I'm concerned that these may not be writing as well as the original Hi-Tec-C pen (I've read a lot of glowing reviews). I know that is the case with the Slicci 0.3mm refills, that write no where near as well as the original barrel.

Anyway, on to performance. The ink flow isn't the best. The line gives out/sputters a lot while writing. I found myself having to slow down a little to get a good flow. Even then, these tips are really scratchy.

When the refill does manage to work, it puts down a nice, thin line (thinner than the 0.3 Slicci). The colors are really cool.

Bottom Line: These refills can't keep up with my writing speed. I need to try the original HTC pen and a 0.4 refill, to see if those will be smoother and more consistent. Until then, it's all about the .28 Signo DX.

I am a big fan of these ink cartridges. They write smoothly and consistently. The 0.3 point allows me to write very small but it still is clean and easy to read. The 2 color pens work great for me since they are comfortable in my small hands and I can still have one black ink for most of the time, and a bright color for writing side notes.

First time buyer on these refills as I bought a multi pen.
I bought these not knowing just how thin the line would be. As a retired Mech Engineer, I can say these pens write a line as fine as a 000 Rapidiograph Technical pen.
I use the multi pen filled with these wonderful colors for decorating zentangles as these create lines too thin, personally speaking, for my daily uses.
