The color is very attractive and the ink is quite nice overall, but the tip is
fragile and scratchy. It slows down my writing speed, and it causes tears in my
paper; I don't consider myself heavy handed: I use .3mm lead and other .25 gels
and .4 ball-points with no trouble at all. Unfortunately the tip is a pretty big
problem. After trying both, I definitely prefer the Pentel Slicci over this.

I love the color of this ink. It's a pity that Pilot (or is it JetPens?) don't
offer blue-black refills, since replacing just the ink and nib and keeping the
barrel is environmentally sensible....
I found the 0.25 a bit scratchy on regular inexpensive paper--a Mead notebook,
laser printer paper, and the like--at least at the rapid speed I write. On
Clairefontaine it does well :) but at work I'm usually scribbling on someone
else's meeting handouts. The 0.30 is a better choice for me, therefore.
