This item is no longer available for sale on JetPens.com

And you thought 36 colors was more than enough!? Pilot Japan added 5 new Yawaragi (literally "being softened color") colors to the popular Hi-Tec-C line. These beautiful, fine gel pens write in pastel colors with the same smoothness at the rest of the line.

Current Yawaragi colors include: Usuzumi (Light Sumi Gray), and Kurikawa (Chestnut Bark Brown) only. Other colors have been discontinued by Pilot.

Really wanted to like this colour. Only useful for colouring in drawings because you definitely won't be writing with it. Unless you use black paper or something. It is very pretty, but just didn't suit my purposes.

Well, I do love the color of this pen, it is Sakura colored, but it's REALLY light colored. And that's a bit of a downfall on anything but white paper. for me, I bought it to make cherry blossom petals on my journals, and stationary, so when filling IN the actual lineart with the same color. It's very pleasing to the eye. So I would give it a five, if it wasn't so hard to see on anything but white paper.

These are actually the best pens I have ever used. No doubt. A few months ago, I bought a 12 set of the Pilot Frixxion pens, and I thought those were amazing, because they erased, but after time, if you don't use the actual box they give you, dirt and other sediment sticks to the rubber, leaving a messy eraser mark when you erase. Then, I saw that one of my friends had a hi-tec-c pen. but it was .3 and I wrote with it, and wasn't too pleased. I felt that the tip was too thin. At first I hesitated when I clicked add to cart for this set, but I trusted the brand, the reviews, and JetPens. Two days later, during the snow storm in my area, the pens come. I immediately try them, and I fell in love. I strongly recommend these pens. Although they do not erase, they write like a pencil, except instead lead coming out, you have great solid colors

This is the best pen I have ever used! They have a nice thin tip that I love because I write small, and they don't break off when I press down on them! I bought all colors to use when I'm taking notes, and three years later I still love them(although now I need to buy new ones). They also write super smooth!!

If you are looking for the equivalent(and probably even better version) of the High tech C try the Uni-Ball Signo DX 0.28mm or the zebra sarasa 0.3 mm. Both are absolutely fantastic pens in all respects, and are even better because they're cheaper than the high tech c. Both also come with a grip and do not have a fragile needle point like the high tech c.
