My elegance pink won't write either. I have a wine-red Hi-Tec C that is at least 4 years old and it's fine. The newer Elegance Pink is dead.

My Elegance Pink pen won't write. :( I gather that this color isn't reliable. I have many other colors of this 0.4 mm size and they're all fine.

All the Hi-Tech C pens write great but, WATCH OUT! They are NOT waterproof at all. I got a paper wet that I'd written with a Hi-Tec-C pen and the words literally ran right off the page. Also with the elegance pink, the color is gorgeous, but I've bought 4 of them and each pen wouldn't write. All the other colors work fine.
