Pilot Japan has five Yawaragi (literally translated as being softened color) colors in their extensive Hi-Tec-C line. These beautiful, fine gel pens write in pastel colors with the same smoothness at the rest of the line. Great for works that need a lighter color touch.
Current Yawaragi colors include: Usuzumi (Light Sumi Gray), and Kurikawa (Chestnut Bark Brown) only. Other colors have been discontinued by Pilot.
UGH!! This pen is frustrating! Good brown color, but it's scratchy and skips
terrible! If you write REALLY SLOW,you get a nice thin dark line, but if you
speed up even a tad, you loose your ink! I wish it were a better quality.
My first review for this pen was a really good one, but I have had the ting for
not even a month and it still has a full thing of ink, but it isn't working well
at all anymore.
The ink flows really bad and it likes to stop and not work; then I have to wait
or try to get it to work, and sometimes it wont till the next day.
I would recommend this pen because it is amazing, but the one I got was crap....
Interesting color, I was looking for a lighter black color to start as a base
with my pictures, and this works good.
At first it looked a little brown, but when combined with the actual black I
have, it looked good.
