This color! THIS COLOR!! It's a lovely muted pine-blue turquoise bit of deliciousness. When I was doing a test page of the color, I found the wider the calligraphy nib, the better shading. But even with my extra-fine Lamy Al-Star in Bluegreen, which I got to go with this ink specifically, there is subtle shading. It's nicely saturated and eye-catching, and even better than the color shown on my monitor. I've had no issues with either this ink of the Yama-Budo color. Granted, I've only had them for a short while, but they seem to be very well-behaved inks.

I just may have to get the entire collection.
