I just received by bottle last night. Usual great service from JetPens. I immediately filled by Namki Falcon fine point. I tried writing on Clairefontaine Linicolor, Moleskine and even post-it-note paper. All I can say is WOW!

The ink is as dark as others I have tried such as Aurora Black, Noodler's Black and Borealis Black. It also writes as smooth as the Sailor Nano black ink.

Few words are needed...

Few words are needed to describe this ink because the quality really speaks for itself. Though it may be more expensive than other inks out there, I have yet to find any that compare to this one. If you enjoy writing then this ink will make the experience even more pleasurable! It is, by far, my favorite black ink out there. I'm so glad I can stop buying multiple ink bottles to find a black ink that really suits my taste. Flow is amazing, saturation is great, and the color is quite dark. Look no further, you've just found what you've been looking for! :-)

Expensive, but if you're looking for an ink that's as black as possible, this is a good choice. I'm fairly new to fountain pens but I've been using this ink in the Lamy Safari and Al-Star (fine and extra fine, respectively) with great results. The line comes out dark and smooth.

I love this ink. Although it is on the pricey side, the quality of the ink and the bottle design is well worth it. Iroshizuku inks are all packaged in these really pretty bottles. They make my desk look great. The ink is a good dark black, but isn't so intense that it hurts my eyes when I read it. There is a review about it feathering way too much. That only happens when I use really crappy paper. Feathering happens to all inks when paired with pathetic paper. It feathers on post-it note paper, but it works totally fine on regular printer paper.

Absolutely the best fountain pen ink. The ink flows beautifully, even in my driest nibs. And the pigment, pulverized bamboo charcoal, is a true black. When a drop of other brands' inks gets on a wet paper towel it separates into its component dyes; Take-Sumi remains pure black.
