Few words are needed...
May 13, 2013
Few words are needed to describe this ink because the quality really speaks for itself. Though it may be more expensive than other inks out there, I have yet to find any that compare to this one. If you enjoy writing then this ink will make the experience even more pleasurable! It is, by far, my favorite black ink out there. I'm so glad I can stop buying multiple ink bottles to find a black ink that really suits my taste. Flow is amazing, saturation is great, and the color is quite dark. Look no further, you've just found what you've been looking for! :-)

I just received by bottle last night. Usual great service from JetPens. I immediately filled by Namki Falcon fine point. I tried writing on Clairefontaine Linicolor, Moleskine and even post-it-note paper. All I can say is WOW!

The ink is as dark as others I have tried such as Aurora Black, Noodler's Black and Borealis Black. It also writes as smooth as the Sailor Nano black ink.

Expensive, but if you're looking for an ink that's as black as possible, this is a good choice. I'm fairly new to fountain pens but I've been using this ink in the Lamy Safari and Al-Star (fine and extra fine, respectively) with great results. The line comes out dark and smooth.

I love this ink. Although it is on the pricey side, the quality of the ink and the bottle design is well worth it. Iroshizuku inks are all packaged in these really pretty bottles. They make my desk look great. The ink is a good dark black, but isn't so intense that it hurts my eyes when I read it. There is a review about it feathering way too much. That only happens when I use really crappy paper. Feathering happens to all inks when paired with pathetic paper. It feathers on post-it note paper, but it works totally fine on regular printer paper.

Absolutely the best fountain pen ink. The ink flows beautifully, even in my driest nibs. And the pigment, pulverized bamboo charcoal, is a true black. When a drop of other brands' inks gets on a wet paper towel it separates into its component dyes; Take-Sumi remains pure black.

As part of an order of a number of inks, this was very nice. The inks came extremely well- and securely-packed, and quickly as well. I'm very pleased!

An excellent performing black. On the dry side, so it works very well in some of my wettest pens.

No denying it's pretty good ink. I will definitely vouch that it works very well with the TWSBI ECO fountain pen. A little bit of skipping, but nothing that requires frequent correcting. The color is solid and vibrant, and doesn't take long to dry. Best of all, there is almost no bleeding. I first used this ink via a TWSBI on a sheet of cheap parchment paper, and there was very little bleed. Only in dots where I pressed hard or let the tip sit for more than a second. Other than that and a little showing on the back, the other side of the paper was clear enough to continue using.

It is a bit pricey, but it's great quality and will last quite a while depending on how often you use a fountain pen. And as said, if you have, or are looking to purchase, a TWSBI ECO fountain pen, this line of inks are a great match.

This ink offered high hopes for me until I tried it. It feathers like a peacock on my illustration board! Cannot use this for anything! Very disappointed as this stuff was not cheap. Down the drain it goes.
