I bought the pen at a bookstore in the "temptation" section or the "candy aisle"
next to the cashier line. Unfortunately, I was lucky enough to pick the one that
everyone used to try out the pen and it was almost completely out of ink when I
used it. Luckily, JetPens has refills! Now I can finally use my pen properly
with good ink flow but a perfect thin controlled line.

So I've noticed that..., March 24, 2011
This review is from Pilot LG2RF Gel Ink Pen Refill - 0.38 mm - Black
So I've noticed that the codes on the G2 0.38s and G-Knock 0.38 inks are the
same, so I thought I'd be a crafty ninja and order refills for the G-Knock for
my beloved G-2s. Well, they arrive with typical JetPens lightning speed and I
pop one into my empty barrel aaaand...crap! It's kinda scratchy and skips and
not at ALL what I'm used to. So I pull it out to check the codes...yep, it's the
same ink refills, but its 3 YEARS OLD!
*Sigh*...not cool, JetPens...not cool. I thought we had a good thing goin' on
here? What gives? I know things are tough all over, man, but to do that to a
friend? Hmmm...
Anyhooo, the whole reason I was looking to buy refills was to cut down on waste
and garbage in the landfills. So now I have to try and decide if the extra
postage and shipping carbon footprint is worth it to return these muthas.
Oh well...

Hacked it successfully..., February 2, 2012
This review is from Pilot LHSRF-8C Gel Ink Pen Refill - 0.4 mm - Black
Hacked it successfully into a Fisher Space Pen (the Astronaut variety with a
clicker, although refill-wise it doesn't matter). It's a couple of millimeters
too short, though, but it doesn't affect writing per se but it's hard to see the
tip on paper. Truth be told, I bought this refill in attempts to hack it inside
the Coleto multi-pen (due to it being considerably cheaper but virtually
identical), but it wasn't possible easily enough. Writing quality and emptying
speed are practically the same also.

Just can't get the ink..., October 23, 2010
This review is from Pilot LHSRF-8C Gel Ink Pen Refill - 0.4 mm - Black
Just can't get the ink to write smoothly from the LHSRF-8C. I'm on my second
refill and I'm having the same issue as with the first, patchy, intermittent ink
flow.
