very cute pen with a veryyyyy cute color!! so small! perfect size!

This is a GREAT pen. When I first got it, it seemed very small. It is a very pale green that shows up very well on dark surfaces. It can actually write on plastic. It is overall, a smooth writing, great pen.

I was expecting something similar to Sakura Glaze pens, but these are different. The colors are brighter than you'd think, too.
I tried writing on different materials: YES, I really did test every claim. They write on regular notebook paper, glossy magazine covers,patent leather, vinyl, wood, coated and uncoated cardboard, plastic ( the case the pens came in, for ex.) enamel-coated metal, glass, Pyrex, and stainless steel.
They write on shiny metal and plastic but some of the shiniest, smoothest surfaces will cause the ink to bead up via surface tension. When other reviewers complained of these "not working," they probably were experiencing the same problem as I did when some pens simply refused to put ANY ink out. All you have to do is draw straight lines quickly on an absorbent surface, like regular notebook paper, a paper towel or a scrap of fabric to get the ink flowing again. Just one or two quick swipes is all it takes. They really DO write on almost everything!

this white pen writes perfectly on plastic surfaces, but, in paper, its useless...

I also had miserable results with this "white" pen. As the previous review said, it goes on clear then dries to a barely visible white. Very faint on black cardstock. Virtually useless.

This pen is terrible. It glides on as more of a clear ink then white. I wanted to use this pen to add to white highlights but it is not useful in anyway.

WORST PRODUCT I'VE EVER PURCHASED FROM JET PENS. I LOVE THIS COMPANY, THOUGH, AND 1 OUT OF 30-40 PENS I'VE PURCHASED, THAT'S NOT A BAD TRACK RECORD. mAYBE THERE'S A TRICK TO MAKING IT WRITE....I'D BE HAPPY WITH ANY COLOR, JUST SO SOMETHING WOULD COME OUT AND LET ME WRITE WITH IT. wHAT WAS PILOT THINKING ????? tHE ONLY REDEEMING VALUE IS, IF YOU HAVE A GREAT TAN AND MANICURE, IT SERVES AS A GREAT FASHION ACCESSORY.

I love the pen but the color is more like a neon orange in my opinion. It's not really pastel. If you tend to press heavily down on your paper when you write, the ink doesn't flow as well but still a very nice pen. The pen also isn't that big. More like a mini pen.

I'm really bummed out about this pen. I bought a few different colors and the green quit working, and it's still full of ink. I haven't used them in a while, but they were very well kept and not abused at all. I hope the rest don't quit on me too.

I love these little pens! This color however
is pretty close to blue. I wouldn't call it
violet. If you are looking for violet try:

Such an awesome pen! It writes on everything i've tried it on so far. Will be buying more of them!

Love these! So small and cute and gorgeous colors. They leave an interesting 'opaque' look on paper, as if you colored with marker over white-out. I've had these (and the pastel set) for only two weeks now, but so far I haven't had any problems with them.

Although this lil gel did not work when I received it,
with some patience and coaching (from JetPens staff via email),
this cutie came to life!

Haven't tried many surfaces, but it does write on plastic.
Ink flows beautifully!

A little scratchy and the color is not grape, but more violet. But small and compact and ok for the price.

This is a wonderful pen! It is now one of my top frequently used pens.

The downside:
*The ink comes out clear and it takes a few seconds for the liquid to turn white.

The upsides:
*after a few seconds it is a nice strong white (after a minute it reaches full strength)
*The tip size is good for details and small print
*comfortable grip
*nice small size makes it easy to carry around
*writes cleanly
*nice looking pen

This pen is perfect! A group of 20 people in my school make a fan club os this perfect pen with a beautiful color! It never dries up! And it does wright on plastic! And, it has a very cute small body, totaly recomended!!!

this is a great pen, very beautiful color, but just not good for dark paper. Doesn't metter! This pen is just so cute and small that it worths!! I've loved it! And my friends too, i've recomended it, and now, 20 people in my school are fan of it!!! Lovely pen!!

This pen is so small as a finger!!!! Totaly cute!!!!!! (Strawberry pink has a special beautiful color: opaque and... perfect!)

i enjoyed these pens when i first got them, however the ink would leak out and harden and they would stop working even though there was alot of ink left, i probably would not buy them again

Smooth ink flow. Mine writes more like a .7. The ink color is like a pale neon pink.

Writes smooth. The ink color is more like a peach than orange. The ink in the picture is nothing like what it actually is.
