Wow! The way this pen writes is so smooth. I was expecting a nib that would be scratchy for the price I paid for it but I was pleasantly surprised. Will be purchasing more.

I really like this pen, it works well, very smoothy. I think I will purchase another one if Jeppens will have F nib of this series.

This is the third one...

This is the third one of these that I have purchased and each one has been a revelation. How can Pilot produce this quality metal pen at this price point? I have two and I gave one to my son who has also at the tender age of 10 caught the fountain pen bug. My two are an F which is similar to a Lamy EF and an M which also corresponds to a Lamy F. The F is a bit scratchy, but given the microscopic nib, not too surprising. I only use it for technical drawings and diagrams so this is not an issue to me. The M is a nice, tight writer and actually quite smooth which is the one I use for writing. All three have converters allowing me to use my Pilot Iroshizuku inks.

These pens are highly recommended and at approximately $15, you cannot go wrong.
