DescriptionSpecificationsFrequently Asked Questions
The Pilot Multi Ball pen is highly recommended by mixed media artists for its rich colors and ability to write on various surfaces. It writes on plastic, paper, metal, glass, cloth, and more—thus its name "Multi Ball". You can write easily and quickly, thanks to the smooth gliding ball at the tip. The pen is great for crafts, artwork, school, and everyday tasks.

Mistakes can easily be fixed by wiping the ink with a wet cloth within six hours of writing. After the six hours has passed, the pen marks become permanent. What a great blend of both worlds!

This pen is also eco-friendly, composed of 77% recycled plastic.

Note: if the pen does not write immediately on a non-paper surface, try writing on paper first.

This pen does write on multiple surfaces, and has a neat design, but those are the only positives of this pen. The writing experience with this pen almost unbearable for me.

The pen is very scratchy on 20lb printer paper (what I planned to use this pen for), but even with Clairefontaine the writing experience is unpleasant.

The ink flow is hardly there, which causes the pen to be very dry, and the writing to look bad. When I start a word/letter it will produce a darkish blue, but as I continue to write the color will fluctuate to a blotchy light blue.

I ordered 3 of these because I thought I couldn't go wrong with all the good reviews, but I was wrong.

I actually bought this in Black fine and medium points to write on Washi tapes. Yes, it is bit scratchy and skippy to write on plastic surface etc...but works great on Washi tapes. Color is very opaque which is great for writing on colorful Washi tapes. I am considering to purchase another color.

Not a fan. It has a terrible weight; it is very top heavy when writing, unless you keep the lid completely separate which risks losing it. Terribly scratchy, and not in a good way. And to make matters worse, it skips when writing. Plus, the lid does not have a good snap when closing.

The pen is very scratchy and annoying to write with. It has a nice color though. The scratchiness really ruins the pen though, I even prefer regular BIC ballpoint pens over this.
