Solid green color, and excellent flow. There are better greens in terms of
color, but none of them have the safety and reliability of Pilot's formulation.

It's actually kind of a blue-green shade, on a hex code chart I'd say around
#177245, like a dark spring green.
It's not waterproof.

Pilot Namiki Fountain Pen Ink Cartridge - Black - Set of 12
Very black and super ink for my Namiki Falcon fountain pen. Could be more black
but its good enough. I find that after a few days or even few hours or less the
ink is pretty safe when it comes to me taking some water and going over the
written words with my wet fingers. Very little comes off or none at all.
Therefore I will never use bulletproof ink Noodlers or some other inks for my
nicer Fountain Pens as they will leave tiny film overtime inside the nib area
and will make the pen skip or even clog it with inks such as Carbon ink. Ive
concluded that with inks such as his Namiki ink you really do not need those
waterproof inks etc...I mean whatever I draw or write does not dissappear after
running it with water and things that I draw I often place in plastic shhet
protectors or Itoya folio binders. So no need to compromise my FP just to have
some 100% waterproof ink. Therefore we are all kind of exagrating the need for
these so called waterproof inks etc..no need for them as long as there are inks
as good as this namiki ink.
btw, ideally to write or draw with FP you should use nice paper pads or
notebooks such as those from Clairefontaine. Those are number one from
experience...I use the A4 21 x 29,7 cm size (here sold as 8 x 11) and smaller
pocket size version

Pilot Namiki Fountain Pen Ink Cartridge - Blue - Set of 12
This is a great blue ink. Darker than Parker, Lamy, Sheaffer Skrip, with some
shading if you use the right pen. Best of all, highly water resistant, almost
fully waterproof.
When you think about how long these cartridges last compared to the
international short cartridges, an overall great bargain.

Pilot Namiki Fountain Pen Ink Cartridge - Blue - Set of 12
These are the cartridges you need to refill the Plumix. I got the blue-black
refill cartridges and thought ink came out looking a bit too gray.
You could also flush out the empty cartridge and refill using your choice of
bottled fountain pen inks (which come in a huge variety of colors) with a blunt
tipped syringe (I went to the local pharmacy and asked for a syringe with the
sharp removed). I have heard that you do need to keep the little purple disc in
the cartridge to maintain proper ink flow.
