This review is from Pilot Neox High-Purity Graphite Pencil Lead - 0.5 mm - HB
This lead is by far my favorite pencil lead now. I own every 0.5mm lead that
Jetpens sells, and for the longest time the Pilot Eno lead was my favorite. I
purchased this lead as it was released, and have had some time to play with it.
This lead is by far the smoothest lead to write with. It feels like writing
with a jetstream or vicuna ballpoint pens. The lead also seems to mark fairly
dark for only being an HB lead. Keep in mind I'm not putting this stuff in a
BIC pencil however. A solid pencil makes a difference.

I purchased Pilot Neox..., February 4, 2013
This review is from Pilot Neox High-Purity Graphite Pencil Lead - 0.5 mm - HB
I purchased Pilot Neox High-Purity Graphite Pencil Lead - 0.5 mm - HB, Uni-ball
NanoDia Low-Wear Pencil Lead - 0.5 mm - HB, and Pentel Stein Enhanced Silica
Pencil Lead - 0.5 mm - HB in one order, after looking at reviews for all the
0.5mm lead available on JetPens, trying to find the one that erased the best and
was longest lasting. I compared all three in a Rotring 800, on Rhodia 80g
paper(A very smooth paper), without twisting the pencil(So they were all worn to
the same point when I wrote with them). This was my favorite of the bunch, being
the easiest to erase by far, and erasing 100% completely from the page. The
downside being, it did only last about 2/3 as long as the Uni-ball lead, and
half as long as the Pentel lead. This left the darkest line of the three, with
the other two being fairly equal. This was also the least likely to break of the
three, being able to easily write with 10mm of lead outside of the pencil, if I
was careful, although all three hold up MUCH better than the crap you usually
find in stores(Pentel Hi-Polymer Super around here). Also, description is wrong,
0.5mm comes with 40 pieces, not 36.
