Pilot Petit1 Mini Fountain Pen - 12 Color Gift Set

I was wary of spending so much on a set of pens, but it was well worth it. The colors are bright and not hard at all to see, even the orange ones. They write very smoothly.

The only downside is that they can leak. Make sure they\'re upright when not in use, if possible, and be careful with them. When you put in refills, make sure they\'re tightly connected. When I received mine, the Wine Red one had completely bled out into the top part of the pen, and I had to buy a replacement, since it was too damaged for use with refills. I\'ve bought a bunch since then, and none of them have leaked.

They do sometimes go through ink quickly with a lot of use, but the refills are very inexpensive, and I find myself making excuses to handwrite things just to use the pens.

Overall nice pens. Picked them up original when visiting Japan on business and have yet to go back to full sized. They write smooth and the design helps to keep the ink from getting on your hands. The cartriges are a bit small which causes you to change them often if you use it regularly but what do you expect from something about 1/3rd the size of a normal one. Make sure that the cartrige is seated securely or it may leak.

These pens are so cool!! I have a lot of fountain pens from pilot, but these are the best ones! The only bad thing I have to say is that the green one doesnt work very well, but otherwise they are the greatest pilot fountain pens ever! I highly recommend this package not only because it comes with 12 of the 14 colors, but also because they work great and they are refillable.
