This colorful array of Pilot's Petit mini pens offers you versatility, portability, and most importantly, fun! The affordable collection includes 8 colors and 3 pen types, for a total of 24 pens to choose from. It's a challenge to decide which ones you want! Colors range from baby pink to black, and the pen types are:
Petit1 - fountain pen
Petit2 - sign pen (felt-tip marker)
Petit3 - brush pen

Each pen comes with an ink cartridge that is very easy to install. Refills are available and are compatible across all three pen types. The ink is water-based and smudge-free.

The pen design is attractive and light, featuring a transparent body tinted to match the ink color. To add a fun twist, you could combine bodies and inks of different colors. The pen is compact and great for carrying, just 4.2 inches (10.7 cm) long when capped. When the cap is posted on the end, the pen ranges from 4.9 to 5.2 inches (12.5 to 13.1 cm) in length depending on the pen type, a comfortable size for writing. When posting, the cap snaps on securely, preventing any danger of breaking it by pushing too far onto the pen.

Note: Please remove the protective yellow tab from the ink cartridge before use.

Petit1 is a series of fine-nib fountain pens. The ink feed under the nib is unique in that it is see-through, so the ink color is visible, a nice visual touch.

I am really surprised how this tiny fountain pen works! I got it today and immediately converted in an eye dropper pen with Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-Gaki. The cap adjust to the back of the pen so it won't be as easy to break as the Platinum Preppy. I am going to order a couple more. For this price, it really worths trying.

I enjoyed this pen. It's small and comfortable in the pocket and in a purse, and it's inexpensive so that I wasn't afraid to carry it. The color is a touch lighter than I expected, so it's not great for signing receipts in restaurants. Also, at this price I'll stick with the Platinum Preppy, which is more comfortable to hold and to write with.

This pen is delightfully adorable and works immediately! My only complaint is that it doesn't feel very well- made so I must be careful.

Bought four of these Petit line pens, just to try out. They are VERY SMALL, most like a novelty item, I gave them away as gifts. The ink and colors are very nice though.

Great, great little pen....

Great, great little pen. I tend to prefer my pens light, and the Petite1 delivers, even posted; in truth, I *have* to use it posted, or else it's too short. The way the cap clicks firmly into place when posted leads me to believe that the pen was designed with posting assumed, and it works really well.

The nib is excellent -- very smooth for a fine. Honestly, the Pilot Varsity is among my favorite pens in large part because of its nib, and the Petite1 is clearly part of the same lineage. I wish very much that the Petite1 had a medium nib option -- but rumor has it that the Varsity nib will fit on the Petite1, so I may attempt a swap at some point. Both pens are fantastically inexpensive, so even a complete catastrophe that cost me both pens wouldn't set me back all that much.

And then, it's just a nifty pen. The translucent plastic, the clear feed system that you can watch the ink move through, and the overall charmingly stubby look combine to make it a lot of fun to look at. It's perfectly suited for an eyedropper conversion, too, and I look forward to seeing how it looks with something like Apache Sunset sloshing around inside.
