This is a fantastic pen for the price. The nib is fine, and (unilike some other pen brands) I find that it does write fine. The pen writes very smoothly and I find the dark green color of the ink and the pen (the body of the pen is a dark green teal color) very attractive. I like this pen so much that I have ordered more in some other colors.

I just received several inexpensive fountain pens from this site after just discovering it. I have to say this may be the best of the lot, based on looks and smoothness of writing. I love the compact size, and I love the dark green ink. The bar code and info peel off leaving very little logo as shown. I think that really contributes to it looking a bit more upscale than the price.

It writes smoothly. I think I need more colors!

Fountain pens are a wonderful writing tool!!! When I found this site, it is my pen Utopia. I had no idea you could get fountain pens for such a great price. I have tried several and this one is the best for several reasons. The number one reason is the flow. The line is thin, but still feels fluid. The number two reason would be the choice of dark green; it is green but not flashy. I LOVE this pen. The only drawback is that it doesn't come in a larger size. I have tried several other pens on this site and they just don't come close, which is disappointing. Absolutely the best pen out there without spending MUCH more.

I like fountain pens. I have been using a Pelikan piston fountain pen for the last several years. While ordering some other pens I noticed the Pilot Petit1 and had to try it. It cost less than 1/10 what my Pelikan costs.

Is this pen as smooth as my Pelikan? No it isn\'t. Green ink is my trademark so I ordered dark green for a nice conservative hue but to me this isn\'t an attractive green. Next time I\'ll order apple or takoizu green refils to see if I like them better. One of the things I don\'t like is the cartridge. I usually use bottle ink and my Pelikan holds a lot of it so I go long periods between refills. It would be nice if there was a converter for this pen since I have some bottle inks I already like. Of course a converter still doesn\'t hold a lot of ink but I\'d still like the option. I might try refilling an empty cartridge with a syringe. This pen writes a little fine for my taste; I prefer a bolder line.

The pen is smooth enough but its biggest weakness is it is just too light to balance. More mass would give this pen a much better feel.

While this pen isn\'t perfect it writes better than any cheap pen has a right to so I give it 5 stars.
