These write well and look nice. I needed some felt tip pens for writing and underlining in my Bible, and these are much cheaper than Microns. I'm really picky when it comes to color, and the red is almost neon, pinkish, (I don't like it.) but other than that they are a great size and great price. I don't know whether they're archival or not, but when used in a book, ink is rarely exposed for long periods of time, so it shouldn't be a huge factor of consideration.

My mom uses these at work for as long as I can remember, so I had to purchase this set when I saw it. They are better than other pens like the Sharpies Pens in my opinion. I really like how vibrant the colors are as well.
