Dubbed "America's first marker pen," Pilot's Razor Point marker pen has delivered smooth, precise writing since it was first launched in 1974. It has a plastic point tip wrapped in a metal collar that ensures crisp, clean lines and long-lasting pen performance. The ink is quick-drying, ensuring that your precise lines do not smear. The pen body's unique style features the familiar glittery body and bright yellow ring on the cap.

I found the tip of this pen too hard for my liking (much stiffer than a pen like the Sharpie Pen, Sakura Micron, or Le Pen Drawing Pen), but it wrote in a very nice controlled line. The pen is quite ergonomic, and there is something attractive about the retro-ish aesthetic to me.

Quite a decent pen. I use fine liners in geometric drawings, and this one is a middle of the road pen for me.

Pros: .3mm fine tip is finer than some other .3mm pens I've used. The feel on regular writing paper is smooth and comfortable. Good for slow careful writing. Of course the price is fantastic.

Cons: Some skipping occurred if I drew too quickly, and it smeared as soon as I put watercolors near it.* Also, this is a personal preference, but I think the pen is pretty ugly looking, espeically compared to other fine liners and technical pens I've used.

*This actually ended up creating a smeary effect I wasn't planning for, but I may employ this technique more purposefully in the future.
