Great pen for the money. It feeds well, the nib is smooth and is somewhat responsive to pressure. The weight is good and it is balanced well for writing posted or not. Also the cap clicks to cap and post as well so it is secure. I would buy it again.

This is a wonderfully solid pen for an excellent price. It's perfect for note-taking and makes a fine workhorse pen (the ease of replacement is a bonus if it gets lost or stolen, too). The nib, at least on my pen, is wet and writes at about .7mm. The pen feels solid and well-made, with a fantastic clip, and overall is very comfortable to write with. It also comes in a snazzy box. The only downsides are the plain nib and the lack of a Platignum-made converter, but the Monteverde one works just fine if cartridges aren't your thing. Give this pen a shot, and you won't be disappointed.

After very little use of this pen, I've noticed wear on the section, presumably where the cap clicks in place. Perhaps related, the cap does not seem to be held in place too securely.
