Platinum Carbon Pen Ink Cartridge - Pack of 4 - Black

If you're an artist who likes to use any sort of wash over an inked drawing, I can recommend this ink, particularly with the Carbon Pen by Platinum. It is, indeed waterproof. I did a sketch and submersed it in the sink. The lines remained crisp. This is great news if you like waterproof ink but find it challenging to carry a bottle and dip pen around with you everywhere.

I put it in a new Platinum Preppy. It writes a smooth black line, but not as smooth as my other Preppies with plain Preppy ink. It feels like the ink itself has some texture. So far, no problems -- it starts right up even after a few days idle.

Love it! I used it to refill my Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen and it works great :) I love how the ink looks when you slant the paper.. it has a certain finish to it I can't explain lol Anyway, I've noticed that it doesn't smudge when I use a highlighter! It's very smooth and not that pricey!
