This ink flows well through the pens through in which I have tried it and comes out a rich black. This ink is both waterproof and alcohol-resistant, making it excellent for pairing with watercolors and markers. The convenient cartridges fit the Platinum Japanese Art Pocket Brush Pen, the Platinum Pocket Brush Pen - Soft (both also available through JetPens), and the popular Kuretake Brush Pen, whose non-waterproof ink is a common complaint among artists. I just wish that I could find this ink in bottles, so I could use it in pens that do not accept these cartridges!
