I was hoping for more of a felt tip pen but it really is what it sounds like...a marker :P. These are really noticable, great color, and writes a rather thick line that's not too good for daily writing but for crafts and projects this would be great! I use mine to mark thigns like calendars, writing extra-large notes of the most important things...etc. A nice buy since it's a great color and I can refill as I run out!
