I still have the original...,
January 11, 2012
I still have the original versions released long ago and sold by JetPens. The
build quality is very solid, the leather suede tassels and synthetic leather
skin give the case a very high sense of sophistication and evny from on-lookers.
The internal lining is a very nice soft fabric, the original was a poka-dot
chorded fabric which looked very cute. The 3 compartments are generous in size,
enough for 3-4 pens per pocket and deep enough for some of the longer pens on
the market. Once the pockets are filled with around 2 pens each and folded up,
it becomes quite thick. But the way the case was designed gives the case a very
rustic, Renaissance, artisan look that looks great no matter how thick it is.
The tassels are long enough to wrap and secure a fully loaded case.
I strongly recommend this case to anyone in professional fields or just
upgrading from a simple zipper case.

I'm so surprised by Jetpens' decision to bump up the price on the PlePle pencil
cases. I remember they were selling for nearly half the cost.

PlePle Choco Pencil Case - Red Lining
I'm really in love with this case. It keeps all my pens in one place, where I
can easily find them. The high-end finish and materials are an extra added
bonus. Using the case actually makes me look forward to work and writing. I
will definitely be picking up another one.
