I have had this case for a couple of years. I love it, to pieces, literally. The case itself is very nice. The material is not leather, or really leather-like. The straps are also not leather, they are some kind of fiber. I would have given this a 5/5 but the straps keep tearing and braking like an old shoe lace. Otherwise its pure delight.

I love this case, it's easily one of my favorites. It manages to fit upwards of 15 different pens at once without ever being cumbersome. I worried it would be hard to wrap and unwrap every time but it's quick and easy. The little silver decorations didn't fall off for me, but having read a previous review mention replacing one with a 2 mm lead sharpener, I decided to remove them myself and do just that.

Wish it was leather, but it's not. The metal tabs on the tie ends fell off almost immediately. However, that just made it easier to tie a tiny 2mm pencil lead sharpener onto the end of the tie instead (love things to be functional, rather than decorative only). Whatever it is made out of, it FEELS nice. You need one.

holds 12 pen/pencils easily, looks neat when you pull it out. lays down nice on the table when you need to constantly change pen/pencil.

my metal tabs came off.. oh well, threw them out. I ended up tying a knot at the end of the strings.

Nothing much to say about it, its a nice case, especially for your "personal favorite" collection.

The material on this case is not quite leather but certainly not plastic-like. I don't usually tie it, but just roll it up and wrap the string around. It protects about 12 pens and when unrolled and laid flat allows easy selection and access. A good value.

I have used this case exclusively for a semester and a half, tossing it around from bag to bag and generally being pretty rough with it. I still have my metal tabs and the case is in great shape. This case holds about 12 pens/pencils totally comfortably, which was great for me because I color-code all my notes. I got one red ink blotch on the inside front flap that hasn't come out, but I have zero complaints about this case. It's great and it keeps me from lugging too many writing instruments with me.

I have had this pencil case for over a year. It has held up beautifully, despite a small ink spoilt from a broken pen. The material looks like leather but is actually a cotton blend. This case definitely draws attention with its distinctive style. I do NOT recommend this case for regular pencils. They have a tendency to mark up the corduroy lining.

Absolutely spacious and gorgeous! Even when I fill it up with pens and pencils, it does not lose its form; no bulky mess created. I will definitely enjoy its utility as the holder of my favorite writing instruments. I highly recommend this for those who desire something off the beaten path.

I love how it's not leather; it looks like leather but without that bothersome somewhat fuzzy feel. The only thing that I didn't realize (because you can really tell unless you look close at the picture) is that the interior fabric is like corderoy (sp?) which I dislike (I absolutely hate corderoy). However that doesn't keep me from completely loving this product! One thing to note is that the interior fabric is slightly darker than shows in the picture and the outside fabric (or whatever it is) isn't as shiny as the picture shows (in the pic, it kind of looks like some kind of plastic, but it's not). It's very nice quality; it's not stiff or anything like it would be if it was poor quality. Oh! And, because it isn't leather, it won't scratch like leather normally would.

Just got mine in the mail today, amazing service!!! 2 days transit, JeTPeNs rocks!!! Seems like it's well put together and the quality of the leather is really nice. Great pencil case for those looking for something a little more subdued.
