I just got these in the mail today and started using them. My first impression is to worry when I see "Manufactured in China" printed on the back band, given that the project seems to suggest otherwise. First use, however, they seem okay. The paper is better than most. With Waterman black ink, I get very little feathering, but there is some. The paper has fairly good visual opacity, i.e. there's not much show through onto the reverse of the pages. The lines on the paper do not absorb ink, so letters that descend appear to have a gap in them. The overall construction of the book is average.
