If I could rate it six..., May 31, 2011
If I could rate it six stars I would. I was a bit concerned about the visibility
of the dot grid, brcause I find their regular graph paper too obtrusive for
writing text. (I've only used it for diagrams though..) But the dot grid is
perfect - neither too light nor too dark. And the paper is, of course, simply
wonderful.

Fantastic Idea created..., September 16, 2011
This review is from Rhodia DotPad Notepad - Black - 3.25" X 4.75" - 80 Sheets - 5 mm Dot Grid
Fantastic Idea created by a company strong on quality. The dots offer the same
divisibility of graph paper without the lines to get in the way. I use this
paper to create Celtic knots. Since it doesn't have lines in it my ideas are
very easy to see with noting darker than a .3 mm 2H mechanical pencil line. It
is easy to erase and inks well. The paper seems to be the same used in the other
notepads in the Rhodia line.
I can't recommend this paper highly enough!!

Unique, ingenious design...., April 21, 2012
This review is from Rhodia DotPad Notepad - Black - 3.25" X 4.75" - 80 Sheets - 5 mm Dot Grid
Unique, ingenious design. Its like graph paper without lines. I am artistically
inspired every time I use this cool little dot grid notepad; it offers the
guidance of graph paper without confining you to a bunch of boxes. Its not just
about straight lines either, drawing curves, circles, symmetrical designs, and
so on, becomes simple with the unobtrusive lavender dot grid there to help. It
works for handwriting too (like those pre-dotted Campus notebooks that everyone
loves).
My only complaint is the sizes. There's only this 3 & a quarter by 4 &
three-quarter inch size and the 5 & three-quarters by 8 & a quarter inch which
is basically A5. But nothing bigger :-( I don't know if that's just what Jetpens
carries OR if Rhodia only makes those two small sizes.
Dot grids are so neat, and they seem fairly simple to design, so I wonder why
more companies don't make them?
(In my Jetpens dreamworld, Maruman makes a Mnemosyne Dot Grid notebook 8-) and I
just bought three 8-) lol don't wake me up yet, I have more imaginary shopping
to do... )

Because of the rigidity..., April 28, 2013
This review is from Rhodia DotPad Notepad - Black - 3.25" X 4.75" - 80 Sheets - 5 mm Dot Grid
Because of the rigidity of the cover and the staple, most of the top of the
paper gets unused or is hard to access, but the paper itself is very soft and
white.

Great notepad but...
When..., November 7, 2012
This review is from Rhodia DotPad Notepad - Black - 8.25" X 12.5" - 80 Sheets - 5 mm Dot Grid
Great notepad but...
When I order these pads I didn't pay enough attention to the dimensions. If your
using them in the U.S. the size is larger than the standard 8.5"x11" making it
hard to file the pages.
As it turned our this isn't a real problem as the pages aren't perforated so you
can't remove the page without cutting it out of the binding.
Lastly, the stapled binding makes it difficult to use the back of the page as it
wont lay flat.
Rhodia makes great paper products so tis review is more and admittance of my
ineptitude than a criticism of their notepad.
