Great notepad but...

When I order these pads I didn't pay enough attention to the dimensions. If your using them in the U.S. the size is larger than the standard 8.5"x11" making it hard to file the pages.

As it turned our this isn't a real problem as the pages aren't perforated so you can't remove the page without cutting it out of the binding.

Lastly, the stapled binding makes it difficult to use the back of the page as it wont lay flat.

Rhodia makes great paper products so tis review is more and admittance of my ineptitude than a criticism of their notepad.

For my purposes, the dots are a big improvement over the more traditional grid style for such kinds of notebooks. Naturally the Rhodia paper is excellent quality. I have both the 8.25 x 12.5 as well as a slew of the 5.75 x 8.25" notepads (which were confiscated by my wife!).

Love it! The dot grid is great and the paper quality is wonderful. The bottom corners are wrinkled from shipping, which could be from the packaging being too small or the shipping being a little rough.

great paper; dots are practical.

The plastic cover has already saved the pad on more than one occasion when I set it down on a wet spot on the table.

The dot grid perhaps isn't the best for correspondence; plain paper with a lined sheet placed underneath is still best for that, but dot grid is good for everything else.

Smooth, thick paper, and no bleed. I like the super smooth tear offs, and the thick sturdiness of the underlying board is wonderful for taking notes on the run and even sketching or drawing.
