A well built triangular shaped pencil. The best feature is the core; it is dark but wears very well, holding up to long bouts of writing and drawing. The finishing is not the greatest when compared against the Hi Uni, Mono, or blackwing, and the distinct aroma of cedar is not present. However, the look is unique and the user experience good due to the great core and easy sharpening. I would buy this again, just for its unique design and good writing quality.

Been a while since I used a wooden pencil but really enjoying this pencil. The shape works well in my hand and the lead erases easily. Highly recommend.

This pencil is great for sketching and its point stays sharp for a good amount of time. The first thing i noticed when i first started drawing with this was that it left a darker mark than most HB pencils but isn't as soft. All in all this pencil was well worth my two dollars an i will probably be buying another one soon.

This pencil seems to be carved from a regular diameter pencil, so doesn't necessarily work well with larger hands. The lead quality leaves much to be desired, has those little chunks of clay which were not sufficiently blended into the rest of the graphite. The chunks of extra clay will scratch the paper.

I bought this mostly for the color and the triangular shape. The color is bright and vibrant, and the black wood of the pencil is attractive and cleanly comes off while sharpening. For the money, a Black Warrior has a better quality graphite. I would only buy again if I was looking for an orange pencil or something with black wood. Eraser is very bad, but I really expected that.

The Rhodia lays down a nice dark line. It is comfortable to hold and the eraser works cleanly.
