Good looking pencil,..., November 10, 2011
Good looking pencil, the red on black is very profound. A little disappointed
with the "slop" in the mechanisms at the top of between the eraser and the outer
barrel; but I can't expect too much for the low price. I guess I'm just used to
the Rotring 600.
Good for an everyday carry, I don't like to carry my 600 everywhere I go for the
risk of losing or breaking it.
All in all a good choice for someone who doesn't want to spend $30+ on a 600.

This review is from Rotring 300 Drafting Pencil - 0.7 mm - Black Body
Now, I know that you can buy drafting pencils like this at a few different local
places but the Rotring 300 was well worth the price from JetPens. Very
light-weight and durable. The grip and placement of your fingers is perfect when
it comes to daily use. I run a Web Development Business and not only sketch
every-day but I have a daily Business Journal and Action Notebook in which I
prefer using pencils and the Rotring 300 is just wonderful.
Great pencil and exceeded my expectations for the price. A bonus is that JetPens
got my order to me in 3 days with Standard Shipping. Kudos!

I wanted to like this..., December 6, 2011
This review is from Rotring 300 Drafting Pencil - 0.7 mm - Black Body
I wanted to like this pencil since it features many traits I look for in a
pencil. It is made of a higher density plastic. It has a simple minimalist
appearance and the lead advance, though stiff, feels precise. Unfortunately the
pencil I received has a slight give to the lead which is very distracting. This
was very common with the disposable Zebra pencils but I didn't expect it in a
higher end technical pencil.
It might just be my copy but at over $8 per pencil I expect Rotring to do a
better job.
