Rotring 300 Lead Holder - 2 mm - Black Body

This is my first lead holder, so I do not have an expansive knowledge of them, but I can say it's wonderful. Even though it has a plastic body there is some good weight to it. I use it all the time (and I am not a pencil guy, typically), it is quite nice. Very easy to use, and quite handsome, indeed.

The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was the lead grade indicator: I bought 3B lead, put it in, and turned the lead grade indicator only to find out that it only indicates as high as 2B. This doesn't take away from the quality of writing or the feel of the pencil, but it was disappointing, to a degree, that the lead I chose to be in there cannot be correctly displayed by the lead grade indicator.

Just for everyone's information, here are the lead grades that the lead grade indicator has: 4H, 2H, H, F, HB, B, 2B.

It would be very cool if there were an option from Rotring to change the indicator!

i search all over for different products and for the price this lead holder is by far the best yet..light yet not too light..fairly sturdy construction...pro look and feel...and if you,ll notice jetpens is always out because its a great deal for this product...highly recommended by artist ,for artist and to artist.
