Rotring 500 Drafting Pencil - 0.5 mm

The cult Rotring 600 has a more economical counterpart available, the Rotring 500. This model has many of the same characteristics including a traditional knurled grip, fixed 4 mm sleeve, lead grade indicator (with knurled metal casing) and clip. It has a plastic colored body rather than metal, but still has a solid design that will appeal to many technical professionals. The guide pipe gives an excellent view of the lead. The pencil has a 8 mm diameter grip and 9 mm hexagonal body shape. The subtle change in body shape links this modern drafting pencil with its wooden pencil ancestors. Top cap holds an eraser and also features the iconic Rotring red circle. Pen dimensions: 5.63 inch (143 mm) length x .35 (9 mm) diameter. Weighs 0.56 oz (16 g).
