Just right for doodling over watercolor. Smooth transfer without becoming gunked up. I've tried MANY and these are the best!

I ordered this and the 0.4 mm version of the same pen based on Rotring's reputation for quality. I have very small, precise handwriting and have enjoyed using other similar pens in the past. I also write rather slowly and that may be why the ink flow from these pens is problematic for me. It also may be the type of paper I am using but the ink flows very rapidly and tends to spread and bleed, distorting my letters and lines.

You may achieve better results based on your writing style, but I have come to the conclusion that I need a pen with a slower ink flow than this one.
