This is my absolute favorite pen for inking drawings! going over pencil or colored pencil is not a problem and the nib wont clog up like Microns,Copic Multiliner and similar pens. The ink flows fast and is very solid and opaque however it dries a little slower so you need to be cautious not to smudge.

I bought this pen because I had read in another review that they were juicer than microns, and boy are they! It doesn't allow for very much line variation, but it is such a smooth pen to draw with; you'll never have to go over lines twice like I sometimes do with my microns. I still love my microns and probably won't be buying these too often (the price is a bit steep for me) but I'd recommend them to someone looking to try something a little different and who has a little bit of extra money in their billfold.

A superior product. I use the .1,.3,.5,.8 for comic book pages. The .3 gets used about %80 of the time.
The tips are hard and durable but have some give when pushed hard. They never wear down or change shape. The .1 and .3 have great bounce and spring. Like other felt tip pens, the larger ones are stiffer.
The ink is very dark and never fades or comes up when I erase over it. I draw with hb lead on Strathmore 400 regular board and erase with a Rotring Tikky eraser. The ink flows out of these pens unimpeded. They are much Juicier then similar brands. That works great for me since I draw on a rougher board.
Without a doubt, though the best feature is the ink delivery system, I used these to replace Sakura Micron pens (also very good) and I went from drawing about 3 pages with the 5 micron, to 10-11pages plus several illustrations with the .3 Tikky before the ink started drying up. You really can use the pen until almost the last drop. I never noticed it gradually getting drier. It stayed basically the same until it suddenly dried up and stopped one day. You can even view the ink in the pen and see when it will run out. They are really big too, which may be bad for some, but it holds more ink that way.
The negative is the price, but for me it is worth it to eliminate the slowly drying up aspect of drawing with disposable pens. I have bought them in bulk from Rotring which cuts the price down per pen to something similar to the other brands, but it is great to be able to buy individual ones from Jet pens when I need them.

I also use Mitsubishi Pin pens for sketching and writing but it is not as good as the two mentioned. Very good but it maybe better for some as it can also be used for writing due to low ink flow which may not go through poor paper. With good nice paper such as Rhodia and Clairefontain any pen, juicy or not can be used.

It would be nice if JetPens had a deal where if buying larger quantity of pens would reduced the individual price of the pen.

To add, pens with nice ink flow such as this one and fountain pens are not good for using on cheap paper found in most regular stores as likely feathering would be an issue. You should use Rhodia or Clairefontaine or similar quality paper.

I bought this pen based on a recommendation from a friend. All I can say is WOW! I use it in my sketchbook. The ink flows nicely on the paper (75 LB/110 GSM). I believe I have found my new favorite pen. (FYI, I haven't tried on Moleskine paper, yet.) Now that I have tried the 0.2 mm, I plan on getting a few other line widths. I just wish it came in other ink colors.

I ordered this and the 0.5 mm version of the same pen based on Rotring's reputation for quality. I have very small, precise handwriting and have enjoyed using other similar pens in the past. I also write rather slowly and that may be why the ink flow from these pens is problematic for me. It also may be the type of paper I am using but the ink flows very rapidly and tends to spread and bleed, distorting my letters and lines.

You may achieve better results based on your writing style, but I have come to the conclusion that I need a pen with a slower ink flow than this one.
