Sailor A.S. Manhattaner's NY Artists Guild Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Cat on the Road

What can I say ... KAWAIIIIII! It's cute! And to the practical: it's only my second fountain pen, but favorite. It skipped a bit, but rarely a problem as I got used to the feel and just rinse the nib every great once in awhile, also not a problem as I use it more (which I just love to!)

This is a quality pen! It writes very smoothly, just as stated in the other reviews. There was a bit of skipping when I first used it, but that is no longer a problem. A++

As a teacher I do a lot of writing, this pen provides me with a wonderfully bright pen that is easy to spot on my desk or among my papers and with the Noodler's Ink I picked up, the pen doesn't dry up quickly during pauses. The tip provides an even thin line that allows me to write small notes, though my mother would say too small.

I love this pen and it's my favorite so far. It tops my Lamy Safri (F). It took while for me to get used to fine nib which I feel like it finer than Lamy fine nib. Before I got used to it, it felt even scratchy. But I might get another with diff. pic on it.
Another point I love is Jetpens has a converter for this pen.

My wonderful girlfriend bought me one of these pens as a gift, and I say, without reservation, THIS IS MY FAVORITE FOUNTAIN PEN EVER. It tops out a Lamy Safari (XF, F), a Platinum Preppy, a sailor inkbar, a parker 51 (yes, really!), and a whole slew of other fountain pens.

The line quality is *DIVINE*, the nib is smooth without a hint of scratchyness, the ink flow is perfect - no skipping, and the line weight is very crisp. Be aware that the pen posts and unposts via screw threads, instead of a detent-click. Pleasant weight - not comically heavy, not too light and cheap feeling.

The only thing I'd change about this pen would be a slightly larger cartridge... but I'll try a few other ones to see what's compatible.

It's a wonderful pen. Forget whatever else you were going to buy, and get yourself one of these. You deserve it...
