Clear Candy fountain pens were introduced to celebrate Sailor's 100-year anniversary. With their colorful plastic bodies and ink cartridge selection, these inexpensive yet high-quality pens are perfect for fountain pen novices and experienced users alike. Those who are not yet accustomed to fountain pens will find the stainless steel nib easy to handle, as will users who tend to apply heavy pressure when writing. The body has a simple rounded form, with a cap that screws on securely. The playful cow print brings a dash of whimsy to your pen collection and makes it fun to write notes and memos.

One black ink cartridge is included. The pen is compatible with any Sailor ink cartridge or the Sailor converter.

This adorable cheap pen...

This adorable cheap pen is still a workhorse instead of a novelty, has a screw cap, comes with a cartridge, and won't weigh down your bag. The Japanese have a sensibility for cuteness that I love, and they combine it with quality and durability even at the lowest end, which shows a respect for a masses and those who cannot afford luxury-end pens.

I worried that the f/m nib would be too wide, but it is hardly different than the Neo pen I bought along with it for the same price. This is a smooth firm ef nib (in Western terms). I also love the subtle star on the cap and the etched anchor on the nib. I might be back for more, but the black and white Holstein is a standout and will get noticed.
