DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
Clear Candy fountain pens were introduced to celebrate Sailor's 100-year anniversary. With their colorful plastic bodies and ink cartridge selection, these inexpensive yet high-quality pens are perfect for fountain pen novices and experienced users alike. Those who are not yet accustomed to fountain pens will find the stainless steel nib easy to handle, as will users who tend to apply heavy pressure when writing. The body has a simple rounded form, with a cap that screws on securely. The playful cow print brings a dash of whimsy to your pen collection and makes it fun to write notes and memos.

One black ink cartridge is included. The pen is compatible with any Sailor ink cartridge or the Sailor converter.

This is my first real fountain pen, and for the price, it's wonderful. It's super cute in appearance -- I'm obsessed with pink, it's a curse -- and I love the subtle little star on top of the cap. It writes really smoothly and fits perfectly in my hand. I'm a little disappointed with how light it feels, and I wish it were just a little bit heavier so it didn't feel quite so cheap, but for the price, and for a beginner user, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

cute and solidly built for all that its made of plastic. for me its been quite durable ive never had any problems with it for the few years that ive had it, and its been bouncing around in my day bag for most of that time. a small amount of ink rubs off around the nib and into the cap, but nothing serious. the only reason its probably still there on mine is because i use the bright pink candy cartridges.

sailor is a nice brand but keep in mind that its a japanese pen, MF is like and EF in american pens. like all narrower nibs its a little less smooth and more scratchy. however because of that it has less of a problem on non fountain pen paper. not an actual problem with the pen, just make sure you know what to expect. if you want a pen that writes in a way that screams "fountain pen" hit up a calligraphic pen like the Lamy Joy. if you want a fountain pen with more bend to it without the chisel tip try one of the Sailor DE Brush Stroke pens.

Great inexpensive fountain pen in a cute pattern. The nib is very fine compared to the EF Lamy. My only complaint is that it is a little scratchy on cheaper paper. Filled with the blue black sailor nano ink it does not bleed through copy paper and has very little ghosting.

Pen is good to look at, but there simple wasn't enough ink flow.Which meant that the colour of the writing was lighter and more importantly nib didn't feel right. If there had been more ink flow, nib might have felt smoother and the pen would have indeed been a useful one.

The construction, nib and feed aren't bad.
