Dark Blue-green describes...

Dark Blue-green describes this ink perfectly. In finer nibs it's so dark it resembles black, making this a good choice for people who find black too plain but need a dark color for work or school. In broader nibs, like 1.0mm italics, the color really comes out. The green and teal-blue shows in broad strokes. It took me a bit to warm up to the color but now I really love it. Use it in the right pen and you'll have people asking what color you're using. Like most Japanese inks, it flows well and cleaning is a breeze, and it's well behaved on the page. Recommended if this is your sort of color or you're looking for something dark and unique to fill a void in your ink collection.

A nice good flowing, medium wet ink. Works very well on fine nibs and leaves a good looking line, similar to but better than Noodler's 54th Massacusetts.

A luxurious green/blue that flows on the heavy side - but not so heavy that a left-handed writer doesn't need to be concerned too much. I haven't had any problems with getting it to flow when I haven't used my pen for a few days. I agree with the comment comparing it to Noodler's 54th - the balance between blue and green is much more subtle Not waterproof: it's good for writing a letter, but address the envelope with another ink.

What a wonderful green ink. It has some great nuance in the color. It really is deep green like seaweed and I bought this ink to pair with the Gist by Tactile Turn. It wrote wonderfully in my Pilot Metropolitan as well.

Nearly black while writing, I find this ink a bit too dark compared to what I was expecting. But it does have a subtle look suitable for a professional setting. I like to use it for sketching, then wash over my lines with a waterbrush to let the color come out and play. Washed with water, the color is indeed a gorgeous, oceanic blue-green.
