This is a darkish, subdued, rather flat green. I like it a lot, as it's suitable for general writing and easy on the eyes when reading. As with the other Sailor Jentle inks I've tried, this web page says that it has no water resistance. In fact, I find that the water resistance is very good. A test page took a soaking without running at all, and the color just lightening a bit.

Fantastic green with really nice shading. I love how it goes down very wet and dark and then dries to a lighter, but still unique, hue. It's best in a wet nib, for that reason. Sailor inks are always well behaved, and this one is no exception.

Great color but a little too fluid for my Lamy 2000 XF. It will be better in my Japanese fine fountain pens.

I love this green! It's exactly what it says on the tin, the same color as the pine trees in my backyard. It flows wonderfully in all the pens I've tried, and the color saturation is perfect. It looks great both on white and cream paper. I'll definitely pick up some more Sailor ink if it is all as wonderful as this.

The Tokiwa-matsu is a pleasant shade of green. I read that it might be similar to the discontinued Epinard (sp?). It flows pretty smoothly and is darker than a bright green, which I appreciate. I did not find it to be particularly water resistant (using a Kyokuto notepad), but neither did it smear immediately when I brushed it after writing.
