The Sailor Lecoule is the perfect introductory fountain pen. Designed for beginners and students, the Lecoule is easy to use and very portable. The pen body has a translucent colored resin cap that screws securely onto a pearly white resin barrel. The Lecoule's stainless steel nib is a medium-fine size that is great for everyday writing. Different colors available.

Pen dimensions: Approximately 4.8 inches (12.3 cm) long when capped, 5.5 inches (14 cm) long from tip of nib to end of cap when cap is posted on barrel, and no wider than 0.5 inches (14 mm) in diameter.

This is a beautiful pen. Writes very smooth and I like how thick it is making it comfortable to hold and write with. However, in all truthfulness, although the pen is great, I gave it only 4 stars because I don't think it's worth $50. It is a very light-weight plastic pen and while aesthetically appealing, it's price is a little too hefty in my mind.
